What is GRE?
The GRE (Graduate Record Examinations) is a standardized test that is an admissions requirement for many graduate schools from all around the world.
It was designed for those interested in pursuing a master’s, MBA, specialized master’s in business, or doctoral degree in the US, Canada, and many other countries.
GRE is the first step towards studying abroad. The test is owned and administered by Educational Testing Services (ETS).

How do I register?
To register for the GRE test, follow these simple steps:
- Visit the ETS website.
- Make an ETS account if you don’t have one.
- Pick a test centre and date that suits you.
- Register for the test on the chosen date.
- Pay the fee, which is usually $220.
- You’ll get a confirmation email.
Remember, you can’t register on the test day at the centre. You must register in advance online. And GRE scores are valid for a period of five years. ETS will maintain your score report for five years after you take the test.
